Life is a game

Very often, when we take on something new, we are not great at it. In fact, there is a time of struggle until we become proficient. It’s within this struggle that we learn, grow and improve. When we take on new hobbies, we understand this process. We understand that our goal is to improve, and that there are no shortcuts. Why don’t we have that goal when it comes to life?

If you think of life as a game, your attitude toward the challenges you face will change. Rather than waking up not knowing how you will face the day, you will look at it with purpose. Your purpose each day is to figure out what you did wrong the day before, learn from it, and move forward. Yesterday’s challenges will be replaced with the challenges of today. With each challenge you tackle and with each day that passes, you will become a better version of yourself. It’s a perfect game to play because you will repeat the process and keep moving toward your ultimate success.

You may not be where you ultimately want to end up. That’s okay. Most of us are a work in progress and know that there really is no destination. So, why not enjoy each day and be grateful that we have the opportunity to be better today than we were yesterday!
