Find your treasure
People search their entire lives for their treasure and often never find it. The simple reason is that they are looking in the wrong place. You can find your treasure once you learn that it’s found within the cave that you are scared to enter.
Fear is your obstacle
We each face obstacles in life that are out of our control. When this happens, we need to get past the obstacle to find success on the other side. If we face and overcome enough obstacles, we have been lead to believe that we will be happy, successful and fulfilled. There is some truth to this, especially when we overcome challenges that stand in the way of a specific goal. Yet, many people beat obstacle after obstacle, without ever reaching their ultimate potential. It’s because they are in the reactive state of beating what gets in their way, instead of focusing on beating what they fear.
Every person has a dream that is meant for them to accomplish. But, most people are too scared to go after that dream. It’s like the person who has a great job, could run their own company within their profession, yet is scared to give it a shot. They may have a certain level of success, but their real treasure is something they feel is out of reach.
Break through your real obstacle
It’s been said that the hardest battle you will face in life is with yourself. You are what is holding you back. In order to really achieve the success you seek, you need to start with honesty. You need to be honest with what you want, who you want to be, and with what is holding you back. Once you identify that fear, you have now found your challenge. Test yourself by overcoming a small fear you have and make an action plan to conquer it. For example; people who are scared of water should enroll in a swimming program and show up each day until they are no longer scared. Simple.
Once you’ve overcome your smaller fears, move on to a larger fear. If you continue to do this repeatedly, you will eventually rewire your brain and have the ability to face larger and larger fears. Repeat the process enough and you will eventually find your treasure.
